Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCAD Drafter Job Summary Smart Precise Solutions, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented CAD Drafter to support the development, management, and control of engineering drawings. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation, compliance with industry standards, and continuous improvement of drawing management systems. Responsibilities:Interpret project objectives and define scope of work for engineering and facility initiativesGather and validate requirements from stakeholders across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Supply Chain, and EHSCreate, update, and maintain engineering drawings (layouts, utility plans, evacuation maps, etc.)Develop and maintain as-built, redline, and record drawingsPrepare sketches, layouts, and preliminary designs for project planningEnsure compliance with document control and change control procedures (GMP)Maintain and improve drawing/document management systems for version control and audit readinessSupport development and improvement of SOPs related to drafting and documentationProvide weekly progress reports and monthly project presentationsCollaborate with internal teams and external Architect/Engineering (AE) firmsIdentify and help resolve issues impacting scope, quality, timeline, or costEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards (FDA, ISO, etc.)RequirementsAssociate degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related fieldCertification in AutoCAD (preferred) or equivalent CAD softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and MS ProjectFully bilingual (English/Spanish)Strong communication and problem-solving skillsProfessional Drafter license (preferred)Experience with AE firms or similar environments (preferred)Experience1 to 3 years’ experience in Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology Industry.Drafting/ Auto CAD: 5-8 years (preferred) Language:English (Preferred)
