Responsibilities
- Prepare intervention to realize (gather documents, technical files, necessary parts, and participate in preparatory meetings).
- Realize or check the detailed planning of the intervention.
- Commission equipment according to existing procedures.
- Realize electrical, mechanical (isolation test) or functional (alarm, failover) tests.
- Perform electrical measurements (on site test sheet, electrical and design).
- Prepare the battery formatting and test the discharge of the battery.
- Perform equipment maintenance as part of maintenance contracts.
- Form maintenance technicians of customers' companies.
- Troubleshoot intervention.
- Realize fault diagnosis.
- Realize mending.
- Refer technical support to troubleshooting pieces needs.
- Manage stock.
- Present and validate the intervention report to the hierarchical superior.
- Oracle debriefing.
- Develop accepting orders.
- Make technical recommendations.
- Identify technical needs through the TIC (Commercial Information Transfer given to the after-sales service commercial manager).
- Check spare parts inventory at the customer.
Qualifications
- Required/Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor + 2 in electrotechnics engineering or maintenance.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- Electrical authorization type B2.
- Battery empowerment type B2T.
- Adequate level in English required.
Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated salary range: $60,000 to $90,000 per year in Nova Scotia locality. Additional rewards may include merit increases, annual bonus, stock, and sales incentives based on performance and utilization.
