Position Overview
The Career Strategy Saarthi brings deep expertise and strategic insight to complex career decisions. They support families with advanced guidance, personalised strategies, and nuanced perspectives to maximise outcomes. Their role is to enable students to make confident, future-ready choices and move forward with clarity and conviction.
As a Career Strategy Saarthi, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational and professional futures of our students. You will act as a mentor, strategist, and guide-helping students navigate their academic and career trajectories with clarity and confidence. This role demands strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, research orientation, and a deep passion for youth empowerment.
Key Responsibilities
- Student Counselling & Career Planning Conduct engaging and insightful introductory counselling sessions ( 45 mins) to collect relevant student background data. Administer and interpret psychometric assessments to identify student strengths, interests, and aptitudes. Create comprehensive and strategic career roadmaps tailored to individual student profiles, including necessary research and documentation. Deliver detailed, personalised counselling sessions ( 1 hr-1 hr 15 mins), providing actionable recommendations. Conduct follow-up interactions ( 15 mins) to resolve queries and capture feedback to ensure clarity and student satisfaction.
- Profile Building & Development Lead initial profile assessment sessions to understand the student's extracurricular and academic achievements. Design and maintain a dynamic, month-wise Strategic Profile Development Plan, incorporating necessary research and aligned with the student's goals. Facilitate fortnightly progress reviews through calls and virtual meetings to keep students on track and motivated.
- University Application Guidance (India & Overseas) Curate university shortlists (domestic and international) based on student preferences, eligibility, and strategic fit. Guide students through application form completion, ensuring compliance with guidelines. Provide detailed feedback,and handholding on Statements of Purpose (SOPs), personal essays, resumes, and other application materials. Conduct personalised mock interviews to prepare students for university admission interviews.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management Maintain strong, trust-based relationships with students, parents, and institutional stakeholders. Provide prompt resolution to ongoing client queries and concerns with professionalism and empathy. Assist in training new team members in counselling methodologies, tools, and internal systems.
- Research & Content Contribution Engage in continuous research for case-specific or emerging trends in career paths, courses, and global education. Contribute to the development of in-house content including blogs, guides, and student resources.
- Institutional & Corporate Relations Represent Career Saarthi in school and corporate engagements, webinars, and counselling events. Build lasting collaborations with educators, school counsellors, and HR professionals to expand Career Saarthi's reach. We are looking for A driven and compassionate professional with a passion for guiding students. A strong communicator with excellent articulation in both verbal and written formats. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple student journeys simultaneously. Adept at research, with a flair for analysing trends in education and employment. Tech-savvy and comfortable working on CRM systems, Excel, Zoom, and digital tools.
