• Develop and implement category management strategies to optimise procurement processes.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality and cost-effective services.
• Analyse market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to meet organisational objectives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant procurement policies and regulations.
• Monitor category performance and provide regular reporting to management.
• Drive cost savings and value creation initiatives within the professional services category.

A successful Category Manager - Professional Services should have:

• Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Strong experience in category management within professional services, ideally string in IT.
• Proven ability to manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and supplier performance.
• Knowledge of procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.

• Hourly rate of $80 - $85 + super.
• Temporary position offering flexibility and valuable experience.
• 3 days on site
