We are hiring dedicated, compassionate Certified Nurse Aids (CNA) to provide resident-focused, quality care for elder Franciscan sisters. Casual/per diem positions picking up 2nd shift (afternoons 2:00-10:30) at our Buffalo convent home located on Doat Street/ Pine Ridge (near Cheektowaga).
Willingness to work additional shifts (day, overnight) as needed. The hourly range for this position is $17.14 - $21.83 for Certified Nurse Aids.
Wage will be determined based on factors such as CNA certification, the candidate's relevant work experience/qualifications, and internal equity. Responsibilities: Our CNAs provide direct care to elder Franciscan sisters including assistance with personal hygiene, dressing, dining, transporting, and restorative care.
Our CNAs are responsible for documenting care for our sisters as required and communicating with residents, family members, management, and staff to ensure resident quality care. This position also assists and collaborates with the nursing staff with duties related to the ongoing needs of the residents according to established standards. Our employees in all departments work together to strive to support the religious life of sisters by contributing to providing a warm and caring convent environment.

Education and Experience: High school graduate or equivalent required.
