We are seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our growing outpatient pediatric therapy clinic as a 1099 independent contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist looking for a flexible schedule, supportive team environment, and the ability to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and their families.
The Pediatric COTA will provide treatment services to children with a variety of communication disorders, including fine motor, gross motor, self-care, autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Services are provided in a fun, family-centered outpatient setting while collaborating with speech therapists, physical therapists, and caregivers to support each child’s progress.

Responsibilities
- Provide individualized occupational therapy treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Implement treatment plans designed to improve fine motor, visual motor, sensory processing, self-care, coordination, and functional skills.
- Document treatment sessions accurately and submit documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary therapy team to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
- Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with Texas licensure requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Texas Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Pediatric experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- CPR certification preferred.
- Reliable transportation.
