About the Role
The Chief Executive Officer will lead a payments platform operating within a broader fintech ecosystem in Indonesia.The role carries full responsibility for the strategic development, operational execution, and long-term value creation of the business. The CEO will be accountable for defining the platform’s market positioning and scaling it into a sustainable and commercially viable payments ecosystem.The position requires close coordination with Group leadership while maintaining independent ownership of business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic LeadershipDefine and implement the long-term strategy for a product in alignment with group objectivesIdentify and develop new business opportunities within the payments and digital financial services landscapeEstablish a clear market positioning and competitive advantageBusiness and Financial PerformanceOwn overall business performance, including revenue growth and cost efficiencyEnsure financial sustainability and effective resource allocationOversee budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoringProduct and Platform DevelopmentLead the expansion of the platform into a broader payments and wallet ecosystemOversee development of key capabilities, including digital wallet, QR payments, and merchant integrationsEnsure alignment between product development and market demandPartnership DevelopmentBuild and maintain strategic partnerships with financial institutions, platforms, and ecosystem participantsExpand the partner network to support distribution and revenue diversificationManage relationships with key commercial stakeholdersOperational OversightOversee day-to-day operations of the platform, ensuring scalability and efficiencyImplement operational frameworks and performance management processesDrive continuous improvement across core business functionsRegulatory and Compliance ManagementEnsure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirementsEngage with regulators in relation to licensing and product expansionMonitor changes in the regulatory landscape and adapt business strategy accordinglyLeadership and Organization DevelopmentEvaluate and develop the existing local teamBuild a structured and effective organizational modelEstablish a performance-driven and accountable cultureStakeholder ManagementRepresent the business in interactions with shareholders and senior leadershipSupport strategic discussions related to the broader Indonesia platformContribute to decisions regarding future organizational structure and integration with other business units
Requirements
10+ years of experience in fintech, payments, or digital financial servicesProven experience in senior leadership roles (CEO, General Manager, or equivalent)Demonstrated track record of building or scaling payments or platform-based businessesStrong understanding of the Indonesian fintech and payments landscapeExperience working in regulated financial environments
