Overview
We are partnering with a well-established, mission-driven natural health and wellness company based in Marina del Rey to place a Senior Project Manager / Chief of Staff supporting their long-tenured CEO. This is a newly created role designed to bring dedicated, high-level operational support to the executive office. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with a hands‑on, values‑driven leader and play a meaningful role in shaping how the organization operates.
This is not a traditional EA role. The right person will function as a strategic partner, systems builder, and trusted right hand to the CEO, blending project management, operational oversight, and executive support into one seat.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and manage the executive office ecosystem, creating systems and processes that allow the CEO to operate at full effectiveness
- Own project management across cross‑functional initiatives from initiation through completion
- Prepare the CEO for meetings, manage follow‑ups, and act as a gatekeeper for his time and calendar
- Coordinate with the leadership team, including the Chief of Marketing on ongoing priorities and deliverables
- Identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements across the organization
- Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
Ideal Candidate
- Calm, humble, and emotionally intelligent, no ego, collaborative by nature
- Highly organized with a solutions‑first mindset and the ability to take projects from start to finish independently
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving, unstructured environment where priorities can shift
- Steady and reliable with a track record of tenure and trust in previous roles
- Background in wellness, natural products, consumer goods, or similar mission‑aligned industries is a plus but not required
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in a senior operations, project management, Chief of Staff, or strategic leadership role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly with senior leadership
- Must be able to commute to Marina del Rey 5 days per week. Candidates must be local to the area
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field highly preferred; MBA a plus
