What You’ll Do
- Handle civil litigation matters independently, from case assessment through resolution
- Take depositions, argue motions, and appear in court regularly
- Work on matters involving premises liability, insurance defense, employment litigation, and/or public entity law
- Communicate directly with clients, including insurers and institutional clients
- Collaborate with a small team of trial-focused attorneys
What You’ll Need
- Active bar admission in the relevant state
- Strong litigation, research, and writing skills
- Comfort with a trial-heavy practice and regular court appearances
- Ability to manage a caseload with real ownership and autonomy
- Prior civil defense or insurance defense experience preferred
