Civil Engineer

Civil Engineer Cork Civil Engineer with 5+ years experience required to join a leading Irish engineering consultancy in their Cork office. This consultancy has a well-established reputation for delivering premier engineering services to both public and private sector clients, with an extensive portfolio spanning water, wastewater, drainage and civil infrastructure projects. The successful Civil Engineer will be responsible for the design and management of water infrastructure projects, primarily within the wastewater sector.

Sample of Current Projects: €20m New Wastewater Treatment Plant €15m Water Infrastructure Upgrade €100m Drainage Area Plan €17m Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade Role: As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and management of water infrastructure projects primarily in the wastewater sector. Provide technical guidance to the design team throughout project delivery. Work closely with clients and carry out occasional site visits as required.

Lead and contribute to the design, commissioning and upgrading of wastewater treatment plants. Support the wider team in delivering projects on the Irish Water framework. Requirements: Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification. 5+ years experience working as a Civil Engineer within an engineering consultancy.

Experience in the design, commissioning and upgrading of wastewater treatment plants. Familiarity with network design, pumping stations, rising mains and wastewater treatment. Familiarity with the Irish Water Framework would be a distinct advantage.
