We are currently seeking a Civil Process Specialist for a contract role with one of our clients based in Oakland, CA (100% Remote). Duration: 09+ Months Contract Pay Range: $18 - $20/Hr on W2 Location: 100% Remote

Job Description

• Examine garnishments, levies, liens and information subpoenas to ensure accuracy, completeness and legal sufficiency.
• Restrain and release funds held in accounts.
• Prepare response documents and submit responses to third parties according to established timelines and legal requirements.
• Communicate with customers, creditors, taxing authorities, attorneys and officers of the court.
• Maintain tracking system and provide details supporting actions taken in the event of escalations.
• Assist customers with making 1099-K tax form corrections.

Skills

• Strong time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of reading comprehension.
• Proficient in Google docs & sheets.
• Experience with lien, levy or garnishment processing strongly encouraged.
• Experience with 1099-K tax form corrections a plus.
