Civil Project Engineer for Mining Capital Projects

Seek a dynamic role as a Civil Project Engineer with a top gold mining company in Northern Ontario. This hybrid opportunity encompasses hands-on project management and leadership in civil engineering.As part of the Capital Projects team, this position supports one of Canada’s largest mining operations. Reporting to the Project Engineering Superintendent, you'll lead a team in executing civil projects efficiently while adhering to budgets and timelines.

Ideal candidates will have extensive experience managing multidisciplinary projects within mining.Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Civil Lead for capital projects' group
• Mentor a team of 5-6 engineers, including seniors
• Manage project execution and collaborate across teams
• Review and approve engineering documents and plans
• Monitor budget compliance and manage costsRequirements:
• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• 10-15 years' experience in mining projects
• P.Eng. designation from Canada
• Strong knowledge of mining regulations and codes
• Excellent communication and leadership skillsUse your engineering leadership and project management expertise to drive success in critical mining infrastructure projects.
