The clinic’s approach centers on compassionate care, clear education, and measurable health outcomes.Role Description The Clinical Dietitian will work full time on-site at Dietician Kajal's Clinic in Delhi, India, providing individualized nutrition care to clients across a range of health conditions and wellness goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting detailed nutritional assessments, reviewing medical histories, and developing personalized Medical Nutrition Therapy plans in collaboration with clients and, where relevant, other healthcare professionals.
The role involves delivering one-on-one nutritional counseling sessions, monitoring client progress, adjusting meal plans and interventions, and documenting all care in an accurate and timely manner. The Clinical Dietitian will also educate clients and families on sustainable dietary habits, create easy-to-follow meal plans and guidelines, and support group sessions, workshops, or digital content related to nutrition and lifestyle. Additional tasks may include participating in quality improvement initiatives, staying current with evidence-based nutrition research, and contributing to the clinic’s protocols and educational materials.Qualifications Strong foundation in Dietetics and Human Nutrition, with the ability to apply scientific knowledge to individualized client care.Proficiency in Medical Nutrition Therapy, including assessment, diagnosis, intervention, and monitoring for a variety of clinical conditions.Experience in Nutritional Counseling and client education, with skills in motivational interviewing and behavior-change support.Comprehensive understanding of general Nutrition principles and their practical application in meal planning and lifestyle modification.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a closely related field; relevant professional registration or licensure preferred.Ability to interpret medical reports and laboratory data, and collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered, non-judgmental approach and strong cultural sensitivity.Organizational skills to manage multiple clients, maintain accurate records, and follow clinic protocols and ethical standards.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with current guidelines and evidence-based nutrition practices.
