Job Description

Educational Qualification : MBBS degree and in addition to this holding qualification in Hospital Management will be preferable.

Required Experience : Minimum 5 Years experience of running any reputed Government / Private hospital as Superintendent or Deputy Superintendent.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations/ service of the hospital, including patient related and administrative aspects.
\n
• Oversee quality of medical care in OPD, IPD, ICU, Day-care, OT, emergency & other hospital services.
\n
• Review patient care protocols, treatment guidelines and infection control practices.
\n
• Conduct daily visit / rounds of different department to resolve critical cases and handle patient grievances.
\n
• Ensure proper IPD admissions, discharge summaries and medical record documentation.
\n
• Supervise all doctors, resident, nursing staffs and paramedics on clinical matters.
\n
• Conduct clinical audits, CMEs and training for skill upgradation.
\n
• Handle disciplinary issues and performance reviews of medical staffs.
\n
• Coordinate between departments
\n
• Monitor bed occupancy, resource utilization and patient flow.
\n
• Ensure 24*7 emergency & OT coverage.
\n

\n
• Ensure compliance with NABH, Clinical Establishment Act, Fire safety, Bio –medical waste rules etc.
\n
• Liaison with state health authorities, MCI /NMC and licensing bodies.
\n
• Maintain medico –legal records, Birth & Death certificates, MLC reporting to police.
\n
• Implement new services, SOPs and quality improvement initiatives.
\n
• To carry out any other Hospital related job assigned by the authority time to time
\n
• To submit daily report to the management.
\n
