Job Description
Position Summary
The role supports the operation and use of the software but does not involve making independent clinical decisions or modifying clinical recommendations outside approved study procedures. The software provides dextrose or insulin recommendations to the clinical team based on information processed by the system.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain the user interface for software used during a Phase 1 clinical trial.
- Work with clinical, research, and technical team members to ensure the interface is clear, reliable, and consistent with study requirements and clinical workflows.
- Implement interface features, perform functional and usability testing, resolve software issues, and support software releases.
- Provide technical support to the clinical team during the trial, including on-site and remote support, software installation, assistance with software use, and troubleshooting.
- Prepare user guides, training materials, and other supporting documentation, and participate in training sessions and trial‑readiness activities.

Eligibility and Requirements
To work at McGill University, applicants must be authorized to work in Canada and willing to work in the province of Quebec at the campus where the position is based / located.
Knowledge of English is required. McGill University is an English‑language university where day‑to‑day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 (qualifier) on a scale of 0‑4.
Minimum Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 3 Years of related experience.
