Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCloud Engineer (AWS / Terraform)Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid -onside 3 days a week)Compensation: $110,000–$120,000 DOE (no annual bonus) plus medical, dental, vision, PTODirect HIre: Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship Our client is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join its Technical Architecture team, supporting AWS cloud initiatives and helping redesign and stabilize cloud network infrastructure. This role is a high-priority backfill and is critical to ongoing cloud modernization efforts. The Cloud Engineer will work closely with the Cloud Architect and a small, collaborative technical team. This is a hands-on role best suited for someone with 2–3+ years of AWS experience and strong Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) expertise who can work independently and be trusted with production systems.

Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and support AWS cloud infrastructureDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using TerraformSupport cloud network redesign and modernization initiativesPartner with architects and engineering team members on cloud strategy and executionTroubleshoot cloud and infrastructure issues; perform root cause analysisEnsure cloud environments adhere to security, reliability, and best-practice standardsContribute to architectural discussions and provide technical recommendationsRequired Qualifications2–3+ years of hands-on AWS experienceStrong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as CodeSolid understanding of AWS networking concepts (VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, etc.)Experience supporting production cloud environmentsAbility to work independently and deliver reliable solutionsAWS Solutions Architect – Associate certification (highly preferred)The client is ready to interview, apply now!!
