Job Description:We are seeking a early to mid career level Cloud Systems Engineer for our Operations, Infrastructure & Support Engineering Group that will focus on building and maintaining the tooling and infrastructure used to automate the release, deployment, and upgrade processes for base cloud infrastructure. This individual will work on developing the automated pipelines for cloud environments as well as providing consulting services to application and infrastructure teams specific to automated build, test and release automation. This role will be responsible for the operations and operating environment for the DevOps platforms and will drive troubleshooting efforts around incidents and outages.

Additional tasks will include:Designing, writing and delivering Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the cloud environmentDeveloping jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that support a continuous security updated environmentParticipating in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like AnsibleAutomating repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatabilityIncident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture

As a Cloud Systems Engineer, you will have a direct role in providing infrastructure services to our development environment. Required Education, Experience, & SkillsActive Top Secret clearance with SCIBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology and 4+ years direct experienceSecurity+ Certification or the ability to get certification within 3 months of hiringExperience working in a Security cultureExperience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management toolsShould have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quicklyStrong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functionsAbility to automate menial tasksExcellent oral and written communication skillsAzure, AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & SkillsTop Secret/SCI with Poly clearanceSecurity + Certification

Security Clearance:Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance. Candidates with Top Secret/SCI and Polygraph are preferred.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $90k - $155kPlease note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
