DESCRIPTION:
Are you skilled at CNC set up, troubleshooting and designing manufacturing processes? Is a flexible workweek something you could benefit from? Are you self motivated, a born leader?
We're interested in hearing from those with the skills and enthusiasm to be part of a new team forming on the 1st shift at our modern facility.
There is room for growth and training provided for individuals who've already been in a set up / manufacturing role for at least 5-10 years. Working this position requires a certain discipline and commitment that we understand is not for everyone. You will have to be an extremely motivated member of a team, who will be relied upon to contribute to the process, which requires everyone to give 100% attention to detail.
Be skilled in directing others. Provide feedback to management as well as organizing work, work force, and training of personal in the cell.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Willingness to be a lead set up individual for first time runs. Manufacture small lot runs to completion. Must possess CNC program editing skills.
Computer literate. You must be neat and organized. Required to adhere to ISO standards.
Maintain machines that will be creating the final product. Will be required to accomplish a variety of manufacturing processes including but not limited to, improve manufacturing methods, creating rework/repair travelers, Maintaining manufacturing instructions.
- Responsible for development including but not limited to, quality, on time delivery and/or manufacturing of orders to the supplied or implied Customer requirements to achieve total compliance.
- Required to assist in the successful development of all customers, which contribute to increasing gross sales and profit.
- Responsible for revision control of manufacturing processes, G-code, Set up documents within our MRP system
- Responsible for the development and execution of, processing, operational /set up sheets, work instructions as related to the manufacturing of orders utilizing and IAW the QMS.
- Responsible for the quality and on time delivery of work product of all employees in the cell. To maintain and achieve the goals of 100% quality and 100% on time delivery
- Responsible for execution of work instruction and immediate notification to hold MRB on reported subject discrepancy. Timely execution of the disposition of MRB’s.
- Responsible to participate in estimating of potential work as identified by the President and Manufacturing Manager.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, safety and organization of the cell.
- Responsible for understanding Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) and utilizing it as a tool for compliance and continual improvement. Communication of the QMS throughout the cell.
- Responsible for reporting any issues, problems, abnormalities, needs, etc. immediately to Management that may be detrimental to the goals of the Customer and Company; included but not limited to material, tooling, maintenance, safety, employees etc.
- Responsible for following and adhering to all Company policies, procedures and ethics.
- To perform other duties as stated by Management.
