Job Description

An opportunity has arisen within a well‑established, consumer‑focused PLC for a Commercial Finance Manager to join its commercial finance team.

This role sits at the heart of commercial decision‑making, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, shape strategy, and deliver value across the business. It offers strong exposure to sales‑led environments, commercial analysis, and influencing outcomes in a fast‑moving market.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted finance partner to commercial teams, providing insight and challenge to support strategic and day‑to‑day decision‑making.
• Own performance reporting and forecasting for key commercial areas, translating results into clear actions, risks, and opportunities.
• Lead analysis around revenue, margin, and profitability to support growth initiatives and optimise commercial outcomes.
• Deliver high‑impact commercial reviews, ensuring senior stakeholders have timely, relevant insight to guide decisions.
• Contribute to budgeting, re‑forecasting, and long‑range planning, ensuring alignment between commercial objectives and financial performance.

Requirements

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with 2–3 years’ PQE.
• Demonstrated finance business partnering experience within a commercial or sales‑driven environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and influence non‑finance stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with complex datasets and performance metrics.
• Proactive, confident communicator who enjoys operating close to the business.
