Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $24.00-$30.00 DOE
This position will be a hybrid role of working out in the field as a Commercial Glass & Window Installer (Glazier) & in our Glass Shop as a fabricator. It could vary on the week/project, but most likely will be 60% in the field and 40% in the shop.
Summary: Assist in the assembly or installation of storefront, curtain wall, aluminum doors, pre-glazed windows, skylights, HM Glass, glass rails, architectural metal, shower doors and mirrors at commercial/residential sites. Fabricates aluminum window systems and aluminum doors to meet production schedules, able to work and communicate with all employees, responsible for staging jobs and ensuring all pieces are accounted for.Role and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.Able to lift 75 pounds on a regular basisWilling to work outside in all conditionsAble to work off ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, platform lifts, scaffold, and swing stages (at any height)Able to be insured to drive company vehicles.Able to accurately read a tape measureBasic understanding of how to use hand and power tools
Able to read and understand shop drawingsAble to lift 75 pounds on a regular basisWilling to work outside in all conditionsAble to work off ladders, scissor lifts, boom lifts, platform lifts, scaffold, and swing stages (at any height)Able to read and understand system specific fabrication instructionsA good understanding of required fabrication techniques for current aluminum manufacturersCommunicate with Shop Lead/Area Manager any inventory needs required for the aluminum shopFollow a fabrication release, accurately cut material, fabricate, and assemble.Assist Department Head to receive, unpack, examine and check in materialsAssist Department Head to move materials from receiving areas. Sort and place on racks or shelves. Mark materials with identifying information.

QualificationsIndividual must be a strong team player, detail oriented, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work under minimal supervision, manage multiple tasks and interact with others in a professional manner.The individual should have taken construction courses, shop courses and or experience in each and English and math courses. Experience with measuring and tools that may be used or seen on the job is preferred.
Writing and reading fluently in English will help in following written instructions, safety warnings and communicating with contractors.

Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:00pm
