$260,000 – $390,000+
A premier global law firm is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Associate Attorney to join its Houston office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, REITs, and energy companies in sophisticated commercial real estate transactions.
Ideal Background
- 3–6 years of commercial real estate transactional experience gained at a sophisticated law firm
- Experience representing developers, institutional investors, private equity sponsors, lenders, borrowers, landlords, tenants, and REITs
- Experience handling commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing, joint ventures, and financing transactions
- Experience drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leases, loan documents, development agreements, easements, operating agreements, joint venture agreements, and other real estate transaction documents
- Experience reviewing title, survey, zoning, environmental reports, and other due diligence materials
- Experience with commercial real estate finance, infrastructure projects, energy-related real estate transactions, and large-scale development projects is preferred
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage sophisticated transactions while maintaining significant client interaction
- Excellent academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
