Computer Research Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computer Research Scientist to join our team in Akron.

As a Computer Research Scientist you will be responsible for conducting research on various computer-related topics and developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on computer-related topics such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data mining and computer vision.
• Develop algorithms and models to solve complex problems in the field of computer science.
• Analyze large sets of data and provide insights to support decision making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop cutting‑edge software applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in computer science and technology.
• Publish research papers in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Research Scientist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or C++.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure.

Salary: $1100 per month. Location: Akron with accommodation provided. Nationality: Filipino preferred. Language: English fluency required.
