Job Title: Consolidation Analyst
Location: Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid
Job Description
The Consolidation Analyst supports the monthly consolidation and closing process, as well as reporting to the Group CFO. In addition, this role is instrumental in preparing the bi-annual external financial statements preparation in compliance with IFRS. She/he has focuses on the application of accounting standards and the development of accounting guidance/trainings and oversees specific accounting areas (esp. share-based payments accounting administration, impairment testing and financial instruments).
Additionally, the positions provides accounting support to local finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the monthly consolidation and closing process, including reporting to the Group CFO.
- Prepare consolidated annual and interim financial statements in full compliance with IFRS.
- Act as an IFRS expert for global finance teams, preparing memos, advising on complex transactions, and delivering trainings.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting/finance + professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
- 6-8 years of experience in group accounting, consolidation, advisory, or audit.
- Strong expertise in IFRS (especially IFRS 2, 3, 7, 9, 15, 16 and IAS 19, 36).
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and advanced Excel.
- Fluency in English; experience with consolidation tools (HFM/FCCS) is a strong advantage.
