Senior Construction & Commissioning Engineer – Data Centre Projects

We’re supporting multiple large-scale data centre projects across Europe and are looking to engage experienced Senior Construction & Commissioning Engineers to support delivery through installation, commissioning and final handover phases.

This role is suited to engineers who are comfortable operating across both construction and commissioning environments, supporting mission‑critical systems within fast‑paced project settings.

Role overview

You’ll act as a senior site‑based engineer, supporting project delivery across construction, mechanical, electrical and commissioning workstreams while coordinating closely with subcontractors, vendors and client teams.

The role requires engineers who can bridge the gap between installation, testing and operational handover.

Key responsibilities

• Support construction, commissioning and handover activities across data centre projects
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and project delivery teams on‑site
• Support installation and commissioning of critical infrastructure systems
• Review and challenge technical documentation and commissioning records
• Support testing, system validation and integrated commissioning activities
• Ensure systems are delivered in line with project specifications and quality standards
• Assist with snagging, punch lists and final handover activities
• Support overall project delivery across mission‑critical environments
• Experience within data centre or mission‑critical construction projects
• Strong exposure to construction and commissioning phases
• Experience working across mechanical, electrical or MEP systems
• Hands‑on experience in site‑based project environments
• Strong coordination and technical problem‑solving capability
• Comfortable operating within fast‑paced delivery programmes
• Experience interacting with subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Site‑based project environments across Europe
• Contract positions with long‑term project potential
• Suitable for mid‑senior to senior‑level engineers
• Immediate and upcoming project requirements available
