Direct Counsel is representing a leading AmLaw 100 firm seeking a mid-level M&A Associate to join its Corporate Practice in Los Angeles.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mergers and acquisitions and general corporate transactions
• Assist with drafting and negotiating transaction documents
• Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients on sophisticated matters
• Manage deal-related tasks and contribute to transaction execution

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a general corporate practice with an emphasis on M&A
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Team-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Deal list required
