Role Summary:We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Developer to support Brightspot course content updates/build and Canvas course publishing along with mastering and edits. The role involves building and updating course/lesson content, implementing fixes in Brightspot CMS and Learnosity, and ensuring smooth publishing workflows to Canvas LMS. The Developer will work closely with ID, SME and QA teams to apply identified fixes, configure course settings, and maintain quality standards.
This is a quick turn-around project, focused on hands-on content development and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:Build and update course/lesson content in Brightspot CMS and apply required fixes in Brightspot CMS and LearnosityPrepare courses/lessons for QA review and sign-off.Publish approved courses/lessons from Brightspot to Canvas LMS using client custom LTI tools.Configure Canvas settings for assignments, discussions, quizzes, and gradebook.Support Canvas course mastering, editing, and QA fixes as identified by the QA team.Implement QA team-identified fixes in Brightspot and Canvas.Conduct dipstick reviews of deliverables to validate quality and consistency.Ensure adherence to SOW-defined scope (Build/Updates/Edit/Greenlighting/Review).Update JIRA statuses to reflect progress on assigned edits and QA tasks.Review and segregate JIRA edits shared by the client, ensuring proper scoping of tasks.Track edit, QA, and publishing progress in internal trackers.Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of content.Communicate clearly on risks, blockers, or queries related to assigned tasks.Support miscellaneous content tasks assigned via JIRA.
Required Skills:Hands-on experience with course development/build on Canvas LMS, Learnosity and Brightspot CMS along with troubleshooting experience. Learnosity experience will be an added advantage.Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow structured QA processes.Working knowledge in JIRA, Google Sheets, and collaborative project tools.Understanding of LMS content structures, publishing workflows, and QA sign-off processes.Ability to interpret SOW-defined scope and ensure compliance with project requirements.Clear communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and report blockers or risks.Strong organizational skills to track progress and maintain consistency across multiple deliverables.
