Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Pre‑Prepared Lessons: Teach lessons left by the regular teacher, ensuring learning objectives are met.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive learning environment, managing student behaviour effectively.
- Supervise Students: Ensure the safety and engagement of students during lessons and transitions.
- Follow School Policies: Adhere to school procedures, including safeguarding, health and safety, and behaviour policies.
- Provide Feedback: Leave notes or feedback for the regular teacher regarding student progress and any issues encountered.
- Adaptability: Be prepared to cover a range of subjects and year groups, often on short notice.
- Support Learning: Assist students with their work and encourage participation and effort.
