Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and analytically driven professional to head the credit product and policy design, launch and management of our embedded finance portfolio as the Director, Credit Policy and Product Solutioning. This role requires closely working with our key ecosystem partners, to develop and manage embedded credit solutions for them and drive business value for them and the MSMEs, businesses and customers working with them.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing risk and policy for unsecured portfolios, ideally serving MSME clients and be data driven, analytical and great at first principles problem solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain a robust risk management culture and promote risk awareness.
• Build and scale the embedded finance credit solutioning organization.
Policy, Product and Risk Framework Development:
• Develop and implement appropriate policies, products, and risk metrics that drive value for partners, while optimizing profitability for our business as a whole.
Credit Policy Management:
• Lead the development of credit policies and ensure they meet market requirements.
Campaign Management:
• Design and execute impactful campaigns aimed at enhancing operational efficiency.
Non-Credit Risk Management:
• Create and implement processes and controls for managing non-credit risks, including compliance, fraud, liquidity, and operational risks.
Credit Exposure Oversight:
• Ensure that credit exposure aligns with established credit policies, procedures, standards, and capital requirements.
Management and Reporting:
• Provide strategic recommendations and comprehensive summary reports to relevant committees, ensuring clear and objective management communication.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of successful risk, policy, and P&L management, with at least 12 years of relevant experience.
Proven track record of leading, developing and managing high performing teams with a knack to hire and keep exceptional talent.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to drive, inspire and influence without authority.
Graduate degree in business, engineering, statistics, economics or other analytical fields of study from a reputed institute
