Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse

Role:

Experienced travel nurse specializing in adult critical care, including transplant units, with responsibilities in telemetry, ventilator management, and IV starts.

Responsibilities

Provide patient care across multiple units within a hospital, float as needed, and adhere to shift schedules. Complete labs within 48 hours and maintain required certifications.

Qualifications

Minimum 12 months of recent critical care experience, Epic proficiency, and a valid Ohio or compact license. Teaching hospital experience and travel experience preferred.

Skills & Certifications

BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and skills checklist completion. Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, with up to 14 days off.

Key Duties

Provide high-quality patient care, document accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Must have references from recent supervisors and proof of identification.

Additional Requirements

Must meet floating requirements within the hospital system, complete pre-employment modules, and have no active applications to specific facilities if applicable.
