ERP Accounts Payable Senior Solution Architect

Position Overview
Design business-driven, standards‑based, and future‑ready solutions within the Accounts Payables context. Lead complex technical initiatives, manage non‑functional requirements and evolve architecture throughout the product life cycle. Define reference architectures, coordinate with the broader architecture community, and drive ERP implementations that deliver enhanced value to the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design solutions that meet product requirements, business priorities, and enterprise standards.
- Manage non‑functional requirements (NFR) and fit requirements.
- Document and evolve the architecture across the product life cycle.
- Apply frameworks in complex or multiple solution contexts.
- Own the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for the Accounts Payable area.
- Assess impacts and dependencies of initiatives on capabilities, risk, and the application landscape.
- Create conceptual & logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies, and integration pathways.
- Define and drive reference architectures, patterns, NFRs, and fitness functions.
- Record and publish Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) for multiple solutions.
- Identify and assess external technology trends and vendor evaluations.
- Communicate complex concepts clearly and negotiate alternate viewpoints.
- Maintain the product’s technology roadmap and provide technical oversight to product teams.
- Improve existing solutions, manage technical debt, and pilot new technologies.
- Mentor junior team members and shape architecture practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, IT, Finance or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience as a Solution Architect with strong analytical and hands‑on problem‑solving skills.
- 2+ years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or regulated healthcare technology industry.
- Proven experience designing business‑driven, standards‑based, future‑ready solutions in complex contexts.
- Experience maintaining vision, roadmap and landscape for multiple solutions.
- Track record of shaping architecture practices, leading vendor evaluations and mentoring teams.
- Strategic translator capable of deep business analysis and technical design optimization.
Technical Skills
- In-depth functional knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA (FI/CO and MM) and OpenText Vendor Invoice Management (Otext‑VIM).
- Advanced ABAP expertise: custom logic analysis, BAdIs/User Exits, deep‑system debugging.
- Design of scalable, high‑volume financial processing solutions in global, multi‑entity environments.
- Strong understanding of OCR and Intelligent Capture technologies.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, API‑Led connectivity, and middleware (e.g., Mulesoft).
- Experience with data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, EDI Standards) and ETL processes across Accounts Payable systems.
- Management of NFRs, fitness functions, reference architectures and patterns.
- Proficiency in creating conceptual & logical data models, taxonomies, ontologies and integration pathways.
- Documentation of Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: 19075 – 35425 PLN gross (based on employment contract). Annual bonus tied to performance. Dedicated training budget, set‑up for certification, conferences and career growth.
