Job responsibilitiesData Cleaning & TransformationConsolidate and clean data from multiple source systems to ensure accuracy and consistency for financial reportingDevelop scalable and repeatable data preparation workflows using Power Query, Power Automate, Microsoft Fabric etc.Support the migration of excel spreadsheet-based processes to structured data pipelinesReport Automation & Process ImprovementDesign, build, and implement automated reporting solutionsDevelop and improve Power Query workflows for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)Document all automated processes to ensure continuity and knowledge transferPower BI Dashboard DevelopmentDesign and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reportsBuild and maintain data models, calculated measures (DAX), and KPI frameworks aligned to business objectivesCollaborate with the Finance team to translate business requirements into clear, actionable visual outputsFinancial Modelling & AnalysisSupport the development of robust financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAssist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packagesSupport ad hoc analytical requests Snapshots of our ideal candidate:Technical CompetenciesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulasStrong working knowledge of Power Query (M language) and Microsoft FabricDemonstrated experience building Power BI dashboards, including data modelling and DAX measuresFamiliarity with automation tools such as Power Automate, VBA macrosExperience with Python/ SQL or database querying is desirable but not mandatoryQualificationsDiploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Business, or a related disciplineMinimum 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in a finance, data, or analytical rolePrior experience within the education sector is an advantage but not a prerequisitePreferred AttributesExperience working in a complex, data-heavy environment with multiple stakeholdersComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements Kindly note that this is a contract role for 6 month.
