About the RoleWe are looking for a Data Scientist who can turn complex data into practical, scalable solutions that move the business forward. This role is suited for someone who is hands-on, curious, and comfortable owning projects end to end, from data exploration to production-ready models. You will work closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to understand challenges, shape decisions, and deliver models that have a measurable impact.You will play a key role in building and improving our machine learning stack, partnering with teams across the organisation to raise the bar on how we use data.
The work ranges from experimentation and model development to deploying low latency models in a cloud-based environment. If you enjoy solving real problems with real data and want to help shape a modern data practice, this role is a strong fit.
Responsibilities:Develop and implement machine learning models that address real business problems.Work with large and complex data sets to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.Partner with cross functional teams to understand needs and deliver clear, data driven solutions.Build and maintain reliable data pipelines while ensuring data accuracy and integrity.Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non technical stakeholders.Stay current with new tools, technologies, and methods in data science and machine learning.
Requirements:A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.At least four years of experience in data science or machine learning roles.Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages.Practical experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.Experience with visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Dask.Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.Familiarity with software development practices including version control, code reviews, and testing.Experience with Databricks, which is our main data environment.Experience building and deploying models that support low latency inference in the 300 to 500 ms range based on varied and high volume data inputs.
