Day Care Support Worker

Location: Ardaveen Manor, Bessbrook (supported living service)

Employer: MPA Recruitment working with the local Health & Social Care Trust

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, rota Monday-Sunday - 8am-8.15pm

Main Role:

Supporting people in supported living accommodation to live as independently as possible in their own homes. Typical duties: Help tenants with personal care and daily living tasks Support with household tasks, bills, and tenancy responsibilities Encourage independence and social inclusion Attend tenant meetings and support decision-making Support health needs and medical appointments Report safeguarding concerns Work with senior support workers and management Qualifications needed (one of these): Level 2 Health & Social Care + 6 months care experience OR 4 GCSEs (including English) + 6 months care experience OR 2 years paid care experience Other requirements: Willing to complete Level 3 Health & Social Care within 1 year Register with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) Full UK driving licence and access to a car (with disability exceptions)
