Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Demi Chef specializing in either the Hot Kitchen (International Cuisine) or Pastry Kitchen. Located in Kecamatan Balige, the Demi Chef will assist in preparing high-quality dishes, follow recipes, execute plating standards, and maintain kitchen hygiene. The Demi Chef will actively participate in menu development and collaborate with the team to ensure consistency and efficiency in operations.
The role also includes monitoring food storage and inventory, as well as adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Skills in cooking, preparation, and presentation of dishes for International Cuisine or Pastry, with attention to quality and detail.Knowledge of hygiene, sanitation standards, and food safety practices in a culinary environment.Experience in menu planning and recipe creation, with proficiency in working with locally sourced ingredients.Team collaboration skills and the ability to maintain a cohesive and efficient kitchen environment.Strong organizational and time management abilities to meet service standards in a fast-paced setting.Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and inventory management processes.Prior experience in a professional culinary setting, preferably in hot kitchen or pastry roles, is preferred.Flexibility to work in a hands-on, on-site role in Kecamatan Balige.Culinary certification or relevant training is a plus.
