Integral Role in Oral Health: Registered Dental Hygienist at TimberRidge Dental
TIMBERRIDGE DENTAL in Heber City, UT, is seeking a skilled and passionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to become an integral part of our family-oriented team. This role focuses on guiding patients toward optimal oral health, requiring strong clinical skills in both preventative care and periodontal therapy, meticulous attention to patient comfort, and seamless collaboration within our practice.
TimberRidge Dental is a welcoming and collaborative dental practice located in Heber City, UT, featuring two experienced dentists: the owner, Dr. Tyler May, and Dr. Mark Bowles, who brings over 25 years of experience. We pride ourselves on creating a judgment-free environment where patients feel safe and welcomed. We strive to be a supportive workplace where hygienists, assistants, and receptionists work effectively together to provide the highest level of patient care.Preventive & Therapeutic Care: Perform comprehensive hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis (Prophys) and Scaling and Root Planing (SRPs), while prioritizing patient comfort.
Patient Education & Counseling: Educate patients on effective oral hygiene techniques (Oral Hygiene), provide dental care patient counseling, and guide them in obtaining good long-term oral health. Diagnostics and Imaging: Take quality X-rays (including panoramic X-rays) and intraoral photos. Treatment Planning: Create accurate hygiene treatment plans for periodontal patients in collaboration with the dentists. Clinical Maintenance: Help the office complete daily cleaning tasks, including cleaning operatories, and assist with disinfection procedures and sterilization whenever possible. Technology Utilization: Efficiently utilize dental software, including Dentrix and Dexis, for patient charting and treatment management.Requirements
Basic life support
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
Licensed dental hygienist
X-ray / Radiography Certification
Licensure: Must be Board Certified and possess a current, active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.
Certification: Current CPR certified (BC/BECPR). Clinical Skills: Proficiency in performing SRPs, Prophys, and taking quality X-rays. Teamwork: Must be a dedicated team player, willing to collaborate seamlessly with dentists and staff. Patient Focus: Commitment to maintaining patient comfort and providing non-judgmental care.Preferred

Dexis
Experienced Dental Hygienist (3+ years)
A current license to administer anesthetic is preferred.

Working Hours
Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Typical Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Patient Scheduling: Single column with typically 1 hour per patient, or as needed per the hygienist's discretion. Weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.Hiring Process
