Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Design Engineer role based in Bengaluru. The Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing dental and medical equipment components and assemblies, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating detailed CAD models and drawings, collaborating with mechanical and electrical engineering teams, and supporting the product design lifecycle from concept to production. The role involves reviewing design requirements, performing basic calculations, participating in design reviews, and working closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design-related issues. The Design Engineer will also assist in testing prototypes, documenting design changes, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing products. Qualifications

Strong foundation in Design Engineering and Product Design, with the ability to translate requirements into practical and manufacturable solutions.Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, including materials, tolerances, and basic stress or performance considerations relevant to equipment design.Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and 2D drafting, and the ability to produce clear, accurate technical drawings.Basic understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts as they relate to electro-mechanical products, including component integration and safety considerations.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or a related engineering discipline.Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Bengaluru.Good written and verbal communication skills for documenting designs, preparing reports, and participating in design and project discussions.Experience in medical devices, dental equipment, or regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage.
