DevOps Engineer

Position: DevOps Engineer
Location: On-Site – Mohali, Punjab
Experience: 2–3 Years

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for application and infrastructure deployments.
  

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Ansible (playbooks, roles, host management, YAML).
  

• Manage and maintain Azure cloud and on-premise infrastructure environments.
  

• Administer Linux-based systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu), including server configuration and performance optimization.
  

• Configure and manage NGINX as a reverse proxy in production environments.
  

• Maintain and monitor MySQL and SFTP servers.
  

• Implement and manage monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms to ensure system reliability and performance.
  

• Enforce network security standards, including firewall configuration and access control management.
  

• Maintain stability and performance of virtualized environments.
  

• Support backup strategies, disaster recovery planning, and periodic DR testing.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system, application, and network-related issues.
  

• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and processes.
  

• Collaborate with development teams and cloud enablement teams to improve deployment workflows and infrastructure standards.
  

• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and infrastructure improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
  

• Work within Scrum-based Agile teams and coordinate with stakeholders to align infrastructure with business requirements.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Operations roles.
  

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud and on-premise environments.
  

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  

• Strong expertise in Ansible (playbooks, roles, infrastructure automation, YAML).
  

• Proficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  

• Experience managing Red Hat and Ubuntu servers.
  

• Hands-on experience with NGINX reverse proxy configuration.
  

• Experience managing MySQL and SFTP servers.
  

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across infrastructure and application layers.
  

• Ability to document technical concepts clearly for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  

Good to Have

• Exposure to AWS or GCP.
  

• Experience with extended Azure services.
  

• Understanding of backup strategy design and disaster recovery frameworks.
  

• Basic understanding of project lifecycle and system design principles.
