DevOps / Platform Engineer (Azure > GitHub Migration)£600-700 per day inside IR35 Hybrid, 3 days onsite in London6 monthsBriefWe're seeking an experienced DevOps / Platform Engineer to play a key role in a large-scale Azure DevOps to GitHub Enterprise migration (2,500+ repositories, 250+ developers).Key ResponsibilitiesLead and support the end-to-end migration from ADO to GitHub Enterprise / GitHub ActionsContribute to planning, design, and execution of the migrationDeliver key activities including:Repository migration at scaleWorkflow & deployment template creationCI/CD pipeline design (YAML-based)Scripting and automationDocumentation, testing, and reporting/metricsEssential ExperienceStrong Azure (primary cloud) experience Proven delivery experience in one of the following:ADO GitHub Enterprise migrationGitHub Enterprise implementationMigration into GitHub Enterprise from another toolHands-on experience with YAML (pipelines / automation) Good understanding of software development & scripting Background in software engineering or infrastructure/platform engineering Experience working in large-scale environments (enterprise, high repo volumes)Modis International Ltd acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers in the UK.
