Job Summary
The Die Maker / Pack Builder is responsible for removing and installing clean packs/die, Disassembly cleaning trouble shooting and assembly of packs/dies for next install. In addition spin pumps and assist in maintenance during but not limited to machine line maintenance. The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding and high-temperature environment.
Hours: This position is scheduled for 5 days per week days off optional, typically from 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM.
Weekend work is required based on maintenance cycles, production needs, and emergency call-ins.Benefits:Medical, dental & vision benefits, PTO, Double-time for holidays, Company-paid $50,000 Life Insurance policy, 401K Plan with Company match, and more!Basic Responsibilities:Remove and install packs on the 3rd floorClean, rebuild, and prepare packs for maintenance cyclesTroubleshoot heaters and temperature probesPerform spin pump removal, cleaning, assembly, and installationWork with spin shafts and gearboxesOperate ovens for burnout of packs, pumps, and filter housingsUse forklifts to move materials and equipmentAssist with general mechanical maintenance and repairsFollow all maintenance procedures and safety protocolsSupport additional maintenance duties as assignedQualifications:General knowledge of machine operations and mechanical repairMaintenance experience preferredBasic electrical knowledge (220V/480V) is a plusAbility to operate or learn forklift operationsFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipmentAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsComputer literacy requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements:Ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularlyAbility to work in a hot environmentFull body mobility including bending, lifting, and climbing stairsAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
