Elite Asphalt LLC is a well-established, 5-star rated commercial asphalt paving contractor serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We are seeking an experienced, dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our team immediately.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment, asphalt pavers and asphalt equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Repair engines, brakes, suspension, hydraulics, electrical systems, and air systems.
• Maintain company fleet, including dump trucks, paving equipment, rollers, skid steers, loaders, and other construction equipment.
• Identify mechanical issues before they become major repairs.
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Respond to occasional field service calls when necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous diesel mechanic experience is required.
• Experience working on heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must provide your own basic mechanic tools.
• Valid driver's license required (CDL is a plus).
• Welding and fabrication experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
