Job Description
About the Role
\nAndromeda is building its India platform, and we are hiring a Director of Finance – India to serve as the first senior finance leader for the region.
\nThis is a greenfield leadership role with a real mandate to build the India finance function from the ground up—covering controls, reporting, compliance, treasury, and team leadership—while acting as a trusted business partner to India leadership and a financial bridge to North America.
\nYou will report directly to the Group President, India, with a dotted-line to the VP of Finance (North America), operating within the long‐term, permanent‐capital model of Constellation Software Inc. (CSI).
\nAbout Andromeda
\nAndromeda is a permanent capital acquirer of vertical market software businesses and part of the Constellation Software Inc. (TSX: CSU) family. We acquire, operate, and grow market‐leading software businesses worldwide with a long‐term ownership mindset.
\nWhat You'll Do
\nBuild & Own India Finance
\n- \n
- Establish the complete India finance infrastructure: controls, reporting frameworks, compliance, and scalable processes \n
- Build and lead the India finance team; set high standards of accuracy, discipline, and ethics \n
- Implement systems and support initiatives such as ERP migrations \n
Financial Reporting & FP&A
\n- \n
- Deliver monthly management reporting, forecasts, and statutory accounts \n
- Prepare and review IFRS-compliant group reporting alongside Ind AS statutory reporting \n
- Provide clear variance analysis and decision support to India leadership and North America \n
Statutory, Tax & Regulatory Compliance
\n- \n
- Own compliance across Companies Act, GST, TDS, FEMA/RBI, and Transfer Pricing \n
- Lead external audits; coordinate with tax advisors and internal audit teams \n
- Maintain robust internal controls across all India entities \n
Cash Flow, Treasury & Risk
\n- \n
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and repatriation in line with FEMA/RBI norms \n
- Partner with North American treasury on FX, intercompany, and cross‐border matters \n
- Identify and mitigate financial and operational risks in India \n
Business Partnering & M&A Support
\n- \n
- Partner closely with the Group President and BU leaders on pricing, contracts, and growth decisions \n
- Support M&A due diligence, valuation, and post‐acquisition integration for India targets \n
- Act as the primary finance interface between India operations and North America \n
What We're Looking For
\nRequired
\n- \n
- 12+ years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years leading a full finance function \n
- Significant experience working with North American (US/Canada) parent organizations \n
- Strong hands‐on expertise in Indian statutory, tax, treasury, and compliance \n
- Working knowledge of IFRS (mandatory) and Ind AS \n
- Professional qualification: CA (India), CPA, ACCA, or equivalent \n
- Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting / Business (MBA preferred) \n
Strongly Preferred
\n- \n
- Greenfield or "build‐from‐scratch" finance leadership experience \n
- Exposure to M&A, post‐merger integration, or portfolio environments \n
- Experience with CSI or similar permanent‐capital / acquisition-led models \n
- Multi‐entity consolidation and cross‐border structuring knowledge \n
- SaaS / vertical market software industry exposure \n
Why This Role Is Different
\n- \n
- First finance leader for Andromeda's India operating group \n
- Real ownership to design, build, and scale—not inherit—a finance function \n
- Long‐term platform with no exit pressure, focused on durable value creation \n
- Direct visibility and partnership with senior leadership in India and North America \n
