If you are a dedicated RN looking to elevate your career in a positive, empowering, and highly rewarding environment, we want you to lead our team!Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical Leadership & Care Management: Oversee the comprehensive nursing assessment of all residents upon admission and on an ongoing basis. Ensure personalized care plans are meticulously formulated, updated, and adjusted for maximum effectiveness.Team Empowerment & Supervision: Recruit, hire, train, and mentor nursing staff.
Foster an environment of high employee engagement by directing work, appraising performance, rewarding excellence, and handling resolutions with a supportive approach.Regulatory & Quality Excellence: Lead the facility through state and federal survey processes, spearhead QA/CQI initiatives, and implement plan of correction (POC) strategies with integrity.Advocacy & Resident Rights: Ensure a safe, vibrant, and abuse-free environment where residents are offered choices in their care. Promptly report and address any concerns regarding resident rights.Financial & Resource Stewardship: Formulate and manage the annual nursing budget while optimizing staff scheduling systems to maintain a high-quality, safe work environment.Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Management: Lead the monitoring, auditing, and training for the community's EMR system to ensure seamless reporting and documentation.Collaborative Communication: Promote strong, cooperative working relationships across all departments. Act as a primary liaison to update families and notify physicians of any resident condition changes dynamically.Clinical Integrity: Oversee antibiotic stewardship plans, ensure adherence to medication safety, and ensure all facility protocols—including restraint or seclusion policies—strictly conform to guidelines.Other duties assigned.Required QualificationsEducation: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor’s degree.Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of practice.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification.Communication & Tech Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to lead EMR workflows and computer applications.Physical & Mental Resilience: Ability to move, position self to assist residents, communicate effectively, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.Desired QualificationsSpecialized Experience: Prior experience as a Director of Nursing within a Long Term Care (LTC) or skilled nursing setting is highly preferred.Leadership Background: Demonstrated supervisory experience with a proven track record of successful team building and survey management.Location and Work TypeWork Type: Full-TimeLocation: Mandan, NDSign-On Bonus: $10,000 Sign-on Bonus ($5,000 paid at 6 months, $5,000 paid at 12 months)Relocation Support: Relocation bonus is available and will be determined at the time of offer if needed.If you're interested, please reply to this advertisement or directly email your resume to me at [email protected] or by calling/texting (949) 295-5951.I strive to reply within 48 hours.
