Job Description
KI USA is seeking a Director of Sales & Marketing to drive new business growth and expand the company’s presence within the automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors. This role will focus on building a strong pipeline of new opportunities, developing strategic accounts, and expanding the company’s portfolio of customers across North America.
The Director will work closely with executive leadership to define and execute commercial strategy, develop new customer relationships, and position KI USA as a trusted partner for manufacturing solutions.
This role requires a highly driven outside sales leader with strong B2B experience, capable of engaging senior decision makers and developing long-term strategic partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales and marketing plans to grow revenue and expand market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within automotive and industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospective customers and convert opportunities into long-term partnerships.
- Conduct high-level business discussions with CXO, VP, and Director-level decision makers.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to uncover customer challenges, needs, and operational priorities.
- Establish strong relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and key industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company at industry meetings, trade events, and customer visits.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure alignment between customer requirements and company capabilities.
- Develop marketing strategies and messaging that effectively position KI USA’s products and services.
- Provide regular sales forecasting, market intelligence, and strategic insights to executive leadership.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience, preferably in automotive or manufacturing environments.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong business acumen and advanced consultative selling skills.
- Proven ability to develop new accounts and build a new book of business.
- Comfortable engaging with executive and director-level stakeholders.
- Experience identifying customer pain points and translating them into strategic solutions.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel as required to customer locations and industry events.
Preferred Experience
- Automotive manufacturing or industrial products experience.
- Experience selling into OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or manufacturing organizations.
- Experience working within a technical or engineered products environment.
