Director, Marketing & Business Development – Food Packaging Chicago IL / Fox Valley WI area A leading packaging manufacturer serving the Food industry is seeking a strategic and commercially driven Director of Marketing & Business Development to lead growth initiatives across established and emerging product categories. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for strategic marketing, business development, product innovation, pricing strategy, and market development . The successful candidate will partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen customer relationships, and create sustainable competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities Develop and execute marketing and business development strategies that drive profitable growth Lead pricing strategy and portfolio optimization across existing and new product lines Identify market trends, competitive activity, and new opportunities within Food Packaging and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Build business cases for product innovation aligned with customer and market needs Develop strategic relationships with converters, CPG companies, and channel partners Drive demand for the company's products, capabilities, and value-added services Monitor opportunity pipelines and growth initiatives to ensure business objectives are achieved Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred 10+ years of experience in Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Market Development or relevant Experience with flexible packaging, paper packaging, or related converting industries is preferred; experience with food packaging specifically is preferred Strong commercial and financial acumen with a proven record of driving growth Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to travel approximately 25% Why Consider This Opportunity?
