This temp-to-perm opportunity offers candidates the chance to demonstrate their skills and transition into a permanent position based on performance and business needs. The Distribution Associate will play a key role in inventory control, product replenishment, cycle counting, and warehouse organization while ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance with FIFO requirements.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, are comfortable using RF scanners and warehouse management systems, and take pride in maintaining accurate inventory records.Pay Rate:$18.00/Hour10% Shift Differential for 2nd Shift15% Shift Differential for 3rd ShiftShift(s):1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Monday - Friday2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM | Monday - Friday3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Sunday - ThursdayJob Duties:Perform inventory searches using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipmentOrganize and maintain picking locations to ensure inventory availability and FIFO complianceComplete product restocking and put-away activities accurately and efficientlyRetrieve products to resolve customer order shortagesSort and stage products for proper put-away and storageConduct product location checks to maintain inventory accuracyParticipate in monthly cycle counts and assist with physical inventory activitiesFollow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and regulatory requirementsReport safety concerns, sanitation issues, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns to leadership immediatelyMaintain attendance standards, including working scheduled holidays and overtime when requiredSupport warehouse operations and perform additional duties as assignedRequirements:High School Diploma or GED requiredPrevious warehouse, distribution, or receiving experience preferredBasic math skills required for inventory and cycle counting activitiesBasic computer proficiency requiredExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) preferredForklift and/or man-up equipment experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety proceduresStrong organizational skills and attention to detailReliable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftFrequent walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and pushing/pulling activitiesAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly throughout the workdayOccasional stair climbing and overhead reachingAbility to safely operate man-up equipment as requiredComfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and dust exposureAbility to work safely around moving mechanical equipment while following all PPE requirementsNesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services. xhmxlyz Nesco Resource provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.COM076
