Job Title: Deputy Manager – Production Planning & Control
Location: Hosur, Tamil Nadu
Experience: 8–12 Years
Education: B.E / B.Tech

Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced professional to manage end-to-end Production Planning & Control (PPC) activities. The role involves driving efficient production planning, material availability, inventory control, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer demand and forecasts
• Align production plans with machine capacity and manpower availability
• Develop detailed schedules for individual production lines/machines
• Work closely with shop floor teams to ensure adherence to schedules
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, components, and consumables
• Coordinate with purchase and stores teams to avoid shortages
• Monitor and control raw material, WIP, and finished goods inventory
• Maintain optimal stock levels to prevent overstocking or stockouts
• Track actual production against plan and highlight deviations
• Identify bottlenecks and drive corrective actions
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchase/Supply Chain, and Dispatch/Logistics teams
• Ensure seamless flow from planning to dispatch
• Analyze machine capacity and manpower utilization
• Plan shifts, overtime, or load balancing as required
• Prepare daily production reports and KPI dashboards
• Present performance insights to management
• Drive initiatives for productivity improvement and waste reduction
• Implement Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
• Resolve issues related to production delays, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts

• Strong experience in a manufacturing environment within PPC

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
