Role - Dynatrace Administrator (8 to 12 Years)

Contractual role - 6 Months

Np- 0 to 30 Days / Immediate Joiners Preferred

Location - Mumbai / Hyderabad

Lead Dynatrace administration and observability operations. Provide L3 support, manage critical incidents, and align monitoring insights with business priorities. Act as technical lead for L1/L2 teams and ensure platform stability and performance visibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor L1/L2 teams for Dynatrace operations and escalations.
• Manage Dynatrace Managed cluster administration and best practices.
• Provide L3 support for APM issues – incident analysis and root cause resolution.
• Configure dashboards, alerting, tagging, synthetic monitors, and business transactions.
• Manage ActiveGates, custom plugins, and synthetic monitoring.
• Onboard OneAgents for OpenShift & Kubernetes workloads; set up RUM.
• Handle SSL renewals, port checks, firewall connectivity, and log analysis.
• Coordinate with Dynatrace Support for ticket tracking and resolution.
• Automate routine tasks using Python/Shell scripts and IaC tools.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for monitoring enablement and process improvement.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles.

Technical Requirements

• Strong Dynatrace product knowledge and observability fundamentals.
• Kubernetes & OpenShift administration; exposure to AWS/GCP.
• Knowledge of Java, .NET, and application performance monitoring.
• Understanding of ITIL and ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

Mandatory Certifications

• Dynatrace Associate Certification
• Dynatrace Professional Certification
• Preferred: Advanced Cloud Monitoring (AWS/GCP/Azure)

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD and DevOps pipeline knowledge.
• Understanding of network protocols, databases, and infrastructure performance.
• Experience mentoring junior team members or L1/L2 staff.
