Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Power Platform Developer supporting the Test Operations and Sustainment contract at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. The person selected for this role will work closely with multidisciplinary work teams throughout the Beyond New Horizons (BNH) organization to leverage Microsoft Power Platform tools to deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance data visibility, and support mission critical decision making.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will utilize Power Platform tools, including PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse. The candidate will support initiatives across AEDC while performing the following job duties:

Job DutiesDesign, develop, and deploy custom applications using Microsoft Power Apps, including both canvas and model-driven apps, to automate and improve business processes across multiple organizations at Arnold AFB.Build interactive dashboards and reports in PowerBI to provide actionable insights into operational performance, maintenance metrics, and organization KPIsCreate and manage automated workflows using Power Automate to eliminate manual processes, improve data accuracy, and increase organizational efficiencyConfigure and manage Dataverse environments, including data modeling, security roles, and entity relationships to support application developmentCollaborate with stakeholders across the mission areas to gather requirements, define user stories, and deliver solutions that meet mission needsIntegrate Power Platform solutions with existing enterprise systems, SQL Server, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and other data sources as required.Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for developed applications and dashboardsProvide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement for deployed solutionsFollow established development standards, change management processes, and cybersecurity requirements as applicable to DoW environmentsIt is a condition of employment to wear company issued PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy. Basic QualificationsBS. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or another relevant technical field from an accredited college or university NOTE: This posting is specifically for those with less than 3 years’ experienceMust be able to obtain and maintain a Department of War Secret level security clearance and access to the AEDC local area networkDue to Air Force Security requirements, U.S.

Citizenship is required for employment at AEDC Preferred QualificationsWork or project experience developing solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, Power Automate, PowerApps with SQL Server or Dataverse as the backend data storeWork or project experience creating PowerBI reports and dashboards, including DAX formulas, data modeling, and data transformationsWorking knowledge of SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365Microsoft certification in Power Platform products (PL-100, -200, -300, and/or -400).Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure SQL especially as they relate to extending Power Platform capabilitiesKnowledge of REST APIs and experience integrating third party systems with Power Platform using custom connectorsExperience with Javascript, Typescript, or C# for developing custom connectors, plug-ins, or PowerApps Component Framework controls. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations and refers to the amount BNH is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
