What this job can offer you
This is an exciting time to join Remote and make a personal difference in the global employment space as an Enhanced Due Diligence Analyst, joining the Operational Risk team. You will play a key role in tackling fraud and driving continuous improvement. This role is responsible for performing enhanced due diligence on complex and higher-risk customers, both at onboarding and on an ongoing basis.
What you bring
- Several years of experience in operational risk, compliance, KYC/AML, enhanced due diligence, sanctions screening (financial services / fintech or similar)
- Experience performing EDD checks at onboarding and ongoing
- Comfortable with complexity; can summarise and present recommendations to decision-makers
- Proven ability to lead investigations / due diligence continuous improvement; familiarity with compliance tools; can manage vendor relationships
- Able to lead projects independently; proactive learner
- Relevant AML certification preferred (e.g. ACAMS)
- Fluent in English
Key Responsibilities
- Perform EDD on customers across high risk industries, including review of relevant export control and licensing regulations
- Improve due-diligence processes, documentation, and supporting systems (clarity and traceability)
- Assist with regulatory changes; participate in cross-functional projects
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business partners and second-line control functions
- Lead continuous improvement around tooling, SOPs and policies
- Contribute to specialist training and knowledge sharing
- Stakeholder engagement to raise the profile of Compliance
- Prepare data-driven internal management reports

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base pay for the successful candidate depends on factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, experience, training, business needs, and market demand. The base salary range may change over time.
Remote fosters internal mobility as a key element of career growth, supported by a compensation philosophy that guarantees pay equity and fairness. All compensation changes related to internal moves are reviewed by the Total Rewards & People Enablement team on a case-by-case basis.
The annual salary range for this full-time position is $36,000 — $101,200 USD.
