Educational Talent Search Program Director (SSM I) #2692

The Educational Talent Search Program Director provides strategic leadership and oversight of a federally funded TRIO program at Trident Technical College that identifies and prepares eligible middle and high school students for postsecondary education. This position reports to the Vice President for Student Engagement and Success and is responsible for program administration, staff supervision, budget management, grant compliance, and developing college and career readiness initiatives for first‑generation and underserved youth.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in student services programs; Master's degree in counseling, education, or related field preferred
• Experience with federally funded TRIO or grant‑funded college access programs
• Experience working with first‑generation, low‑income, or underserved K‑12 students
• Program administration, strategic planning, budget development, and grant compliance expertise
• Strong leadership, supervision, and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting for program improvement
